The Akron chemical manufacturing plant has an opening for an experienced full-time Chemical Operator.
This position requires:



At least three years chemical manufacturing experience and a high school diploma equivalent.



A strong mechanical aptitude and some chemistry knowledge is required to insure selected individual understands not only how to run a process, but how equipment and chemicals work together.



A willingness to work a continuous 7-day schedule with rotating days off on any of the three shifts and readily except overtime without restriction.



Excellent verbal communication skills



Some Computer skills



A good safety approach to work



The ability to lift 55 lbs, climb stairs and work both inside and outside without restrictions



The ability to multitask and make decisions effectively are critical job competencies.



Excellent attendance and work ethic.
